Our Mission
The FBKC is a dog breed registry founded in 2019 by a group of professionals including breeders, veterinarians and enthusiasts. Its purpose is to promote the study, breeding, showing and advancement of purebred dogs.
We support breeders, encourage health testing and the selection of the best individuals for reproduction.
Our Vision
We want to put the dog back at the heart of our actions, without prejudice a fresh perspective on breed where everyone can share their experience and vision while respecting the standards.

You Have Questions
Well, We Have Answers.
A pedigree is a document that traces the genealogy of a dog, cat or horse. It generally includes the parents, grandparents and beyond — ideally covering a minimum of 3 generations.
It is more than just a piece of paper filed away in a folder. This document is genuinely useful for understanding the exact origins of your animal. At FBKC, we specialise in canine pedigrees.
Most breeders use it to research bloodlines, assess inbreeding levels, review awards won by various breeding dogs, and check health tests carried out on previous generations — primarily to preserve the genetic heritage of their stock.
For pet owners, it is also essential to simply discover their companion's ancestry and confirm that their dog belongs to a well-defined breed. Registering dogs with a registry is key in the breeding industry, allowing professionals to select their best subjects and ensure optimal traceability.
The FBKC is one of the only kennel clubs specialising in unrecognised breeds and exotic colours, and it is fully digital! It features intuitive tools and a comprehensive, multilingual website. We are committed to offering our members maximum availability and responsiveness, because we know that breeding is a demanding profession where time is often in short supply.
We also take great pride in handling your data — whether personal or professional — with complete discretion and reliability. We do not and will never sell your information to commercial partners or third parties.
Present in over 10 countries, we are actively developing clubs worldwide and aim to organise events and gatherings where members can showcase their dogs, compete for awards and create champions!
We are also one of the only kennel clubs for exotic colours to actively promote health testing — because for us, a dog must be in excellent health with a great life expectancy before anything else.
We created the FBKC to allow breeders and owners of unrecognised breeds to register their dogs in a reliable and trustworthy registry.
Non-standard colours are very often criticised negatively, even though the health and functionality of the dog itself is comparable to any other. Many breeders develop these specific colour variations without neglecting morphological standards or the physiological balance of their animals.
Our registry was designed for these original and lively dogs, who deserve to be known by the wider public and receive the same treatment as officially recognised breeds.
For all these reasons, we offer as many people as possible the opportunity, through our dog registry, to obtain reliable and complete pedigrees — establishing an honest genealogy from generation to generation.
There are many rumours and misconceptions surrounding dogs of exotic types or colours, but they have exactly the same life expectancy as any other dog and are no more prone to illness — quite the contrary. These are persistent urban myths with no basis in official scientific studies. Depending on the breed, most will live in good health between 8 and 14 years.
Once your registration request has been validated on our website, you can expect to receive your official FBKC pedigree within 7 to 10 business days.
The digital version is sent by email as soon as your file is approved, so you don't have to wait for the postal delivery to access your document. The printed copy is then shipped to your address within the standard timeframe.
Please note that processing times may vary slightly during busy periods. If you have not received your pedigree after 10 days, do not hesitate to contact our team directly via WhatsApp — we will get back to you as quickly as possible.
In France and worldwide, the American Bully is not recognised as an official breed by the FCI (Fédération Cynologique Internationale).
However, it is nonetheless a breed in its own right thanks to the ABKC (American Bully Kennel Club), which created the first registry for the Ambully in 2004. It was also registered by the UKC (United Kennel Club) on 15 July 2013 — one of the world's largest registries, established over 100 years ago in the United States (UKC founded in 1898).
The LOF does not recognise the American Bully as a breed but as a hybrid dog with an unfixed genetic makeup — which is understandable given that it has only existed for around 20 years, and it generally takes several decades to establish a well-fixed phenotype.
Due to its non-recognition, the American Bully cannot be officially classified as a breed and therefore does not fall under the legislation governing so-called "dangerous dogs" or category 1 or 2 breeds.
The price of a quality American Bully typically ranges from €1,500 to €3,500 (~$1,600–$3,800), and can increase significantly depending on the bloodline, breeder, country of origin or the dog's morphology. Prices can reach extraordinary heights — the current record was set by Grand Champion Muscletone's Magoo, sold for close to one million dollars.
We strongly advise against buying from backyard breeders. Research the seller thoroughly by checking social media, Google reviews and their previous litters — leave nothing to chance.
A deal that seems too good to be true often is, and you are likely to be disappointed. Experience and careful selection work are essential to producing quality American Bullies.
The American Bully is a young breed, so it is difficult to precisely identify recurring breed-specific health conditions.
The three main breeds used to create the American Bully are the American Staffordshire Terrier (Amstaff), the Pit Bull (large build) and the English Bulldog. The first two are known for exceptional health — aside from ataxia affecting certain bloodlines — while the third is prone to numerous issues, including dysplasia, which affects more than 80% of the world's English Bulldog population.
It can therefore be concluded that the American Bully may be affected by:
- Demodex: Also known as Demodicosis, Mange or Demodectic Mange
- Hip and/or elbow dysplasia: Our club strongly recommends health testing all breeding dogs
- Cerebellar ataxia: A well-known genetic condition in the American Staffordshire Terrier community
To purchase a quality dog from a breeder, start by researching their previous litters and track record.
Check reviews and comments on social media or Google, but don't rely solely on Facebook likes — focus on references and dogs they have already produced.
Whenever possible, collect your puppy in person. Seeing the environment and the puppy's behaviour firsthand is invaluable, and paying on the spot means no unpleasant surprises.
Regarding paperwork, make sure the parents are registered with a recognised registry (FBKC, ABKC, LOF, IBKC or UKC) and that the puppy you are about to purchase comes with a provisional coupon or puppy code.
The club currently recognises over 30 breeds or dog types. Our registry evolves constantly each year to offer more breeds and meet the needs of the dog community.
We are always open to breeders and enthusiasts. If you breed a dog type that is not yet listed in our club, don't hesitate to contact us! We will review your request and add it to our registry if it meets our quality and traceability standards.
Our goal is to cover as many breeds and dog types as possible — whether officially recognised or not — including all exotic colours that are often excluded from traditional registries.
